Beautiful shaped lap size afghans are a pleasure to stitch
I bought this book to increase my library of shaped afghans. I love the one on the cover but there are five more that are all really nice lap size afghans to stitch. What is nice is that they are smaller so you can learn how to make a shaped afghan is less time than a full size bedspread takes. At one time, the only way to get the pattern for a shaped afghan was to buy a kit at close to $100, so buying this book is a great value.

Beautiful afghans
The patterns in this leaflet are marked as to whether they are easy or intermediate. That's nice to know before you get started making one of these beautiful afghans. They also include the brand (as well as the color) of the yarn that was used. That makes it easier to duplicate the afghans as exactly as possible if that is what you are trying to do. Instructions are very detailed and easy to follow, with complete instructions for special stitches. I can't wait to get started on the Blue Mandalay afghan!
